Getting started with Visual Cyclic

Visual Cyclic provides research-grade tools for cyclic peptides: cyclization (head-to-tail or disulfide), mass loss and stability from sequence, and 3D structure viewing (Cyclic Backbone Viewer, Disulfide Bond 3D, Macrocycle Conformation). All in the browser; no installation required.

What we offer

Enter a cyclic peptide sequence and choose cyclization type (head-to-tail or disulfide) to get linear mass, ring mass loss, cyclic mass, pI, GRAVY, and charge. Use the Stability Predictor for stability indices. View cyclic 3D structures and disulfide bonds in the viewer; export PDB, PNG, and Cyclic Structure Export (PDF reports). Export options: Export formats, Cyclic Structure Export.

Typical workflow

  1. Cyclic properties: Go to Cyclic Peptide Properties (cyclization), enter your sequence and cyclization type (head-to-tail or disulfide). Get linear mass, ring mass loss, cyclic mass, pI, GRAVY, charge, and a PDF report.
  2. Stability: Use Stability Predictor for stability indices and physicochemical properties from sequence.
  3. 3D view: Use Cyclic Backbone Viewer to load a cyclic PDB or generate from sequence when supported; use Disulfide Bond 3D to visualize disulfide connectivity. Export PDB or PNG from the viewer.
  4. Macrocycle conformation: Use Macrocycle Conformation for multi-frame or conformation preview; export PNG.
  5. Export: See Cyclic Structure Export for where to export structures and reports.
