Short step-by-step guides to get the most out of Visual Cyclic. Start with Cyclic Peptide Properties and the Stability Predictor, then use the 3D viewer for cyclic backbone and disulfide visualization.
- Cyclic Peptide Properties (cyclization)
Enter a cyclic peptide sequence (1- or 3-letter) and choose cyclization type (head-to-tail or disulfide). Get linear mass, ring mass loss, cyclic mass, pI, GRAVY, charge, and a PDF report. Use Stability Predictor for stability indices from sequence.
- Stability Predictor
Enter a peptide sequence to get stability indices and physicochemical properties. Use for cyclic or linear sequences when you need stability and solubility checks. For cyclization mass and ring loss use Cyclic Peptide Properties.
- Cyclic Backbone Viewer
Load a cyclic peptide PDB (e.g. from RCSB) or generate from sequence when supported. View in 3D, then export coordinates (PDB) or a screenshot (PNG) from the viewer sidebar. See Cyclic Structure Export for workflow details.
- Disulfide Bond 3D
Visualize disulfide bonds in cyclic or folded structures. Load a PDB with cysteines; the viewer highlights S–S connectivity. Export the view as PNG for figures or reports.
- Macrocycle Conformation
Multi-frame trajectory or conformation playback for macrocycle or cyclic structures. Load a preset or your own PDB IDs. Export PNG as needed. For a single structure use Cyclic Backbone Viewer.
- Cyclic Structure Export
Export cyclic peptide structures (PDB, PNG) and property reports (PDF). Use after running Cyclic Peptide Properties or the 3D viewer. See Cyclic Structure Export for what you can export and where to export from.
